Community Care – The Church at Cedar Springs is making a very intentional effort to reach into the community around us. Reaching out to the less fortunate, we want to be a catalyst for bringing the Gospel of Jesus into their lives. We want to specifically impact issues of hunger, homelessness, and at-risk youth. Ours is a collaboration of efforts of like-minded organizations to advance a culture of change in the community, giving them a hand up rather than just a hand out. Some of our current efforts are: Operating a Food Bank which serves more than 30,000 people a year; Developing a program to award scholarships; Developing a program ministering to men facing difficult challenges in life; Reaching out to business leaders in Graham to create a community partnership.
